Who We Are

We are a family owned and operated business located in historic Orange VA. Three Oaks Cerakote LLC was established in 2019 directly from the roots of the surrounding land. It is these roots that helped us derive the name based on our unique surroundings of triple trunk oak trees. The exact conditions or contributors that caused these multiple sprouts 200+ years ago may never be known, but aligned with our business credo to provide a solid and dependable local business providing the best customer service with the highest level of integrity. 

Our background covers a wide range of direct industry experience from artwork painting and airbrush work, automotive painting, and metal fabrication, combined with our love for firearms and the outdoors, along with support of our Constitution. We have years of experience with numerous firearms, general and tactical accessories, archery, small game and big game hunting, and night predator equipment. This combined experience and passion led to customization of firearms including the application of Cerakote® ceramic coatings. We quickly learned that this process rendered a unique and durable custom finish to provide not only the high end appearance, but provide outstanding performance with everyday use living up to the Finish Strong moto from NIC Industries/Cerakote®.  

Three Oaks Cerakote is established to serve you as our customer. We are FFL Licensed and NIC/Cerakote® Factory Trained & Certified operating a fully equipped shop delivering custom Cerakote® applications for your firearms or other items, such as knives, exhaust components, tumblers, etc. We are also trained and certified to provide laser engraving services to meet your needs.
